Our Purpose & Mission
Filling The Pulpit (FTP) was established to support sound congregations of Churches of Christ in securing preachers for both temporary and permanent assignments. Additionally, FTP places a special emphasis on supporting smaller congregations or those experiencing a decline in growth by offering services aimed at fostering growth and facilitating the establishment of congregations in areas where the need arises. Our mission is to extend our reach to as many states as possible, aiding smaller congregations and addressing pulpit vacancies. in which individuals play a pivotal role in introducing and promoting FTP services, identifying congregations in need, and assisting in the signup process.
FTP is under the oversight of Longmire church of Christ Eldership in Conroe, Texas.

How FTP Works
How to sign up:
1. Select the the "Sign Up" button below or the "Sign Up" tab located at the top of this page
2. Select "In Need of a Preacher"
3. Fill out the "In Need of a Preacher" Sign Up form
4. A member of the FTP team will review your submission
5. A FTP member will reach out to you within 72 hours
6. The congregation's need will be added to the "Congregations We Serve" tab and made available to all FTP ministers
